Dr. Eloisa Angeles was the first Entrepreneur in Residence at Five Seasons Ventures where she spent four months working specifically on the pet food sector. She supported the team in developing the investment case for innovative formats and business models and was directly involved in field research to identify and screen various opportunities, among which Butternut Box, where Five Seasons Ventures invested in 2018, leading the Series B round.
Before that, Dr. Angeles spent five years working as a high tech venture capital investor with direct experience in seed to late stage investments and with a focus on B2C companies in industries such as Food/Clean/Agritech as well as general e-commerce. She worked for funds such as Imperial Innovations, Zouk Capital and Khazanah Europe. She is currently the founder of Terrax, a deep-science company that aims to provide scalable and effective AI software solutions to the food and griculture industry. She has a PhD from the University of Cambridge specialising in predictive algorithms (sponsored by Pfizer). She also has a Masters in Nanotechnology (Cambridge) and a Bachelors in Materials and Engineering (Imperial).
